City Tour + Grove Criterium
On Sunday, August 12, Trailnet is partnering with the St. Louis Classic, on a panoramic bike tour that will explore the gems of the Gateway City and some of our fascinating neighborhoods prior to the start of the Grove Criterium.
The ride will start at Newstead & Vista, near the Core @ S. Newstead Development, two blocks south of Manchester, and will finish at the grassy corner of Urban Chestnut’s Grove Bierhall at the intersection of Newstead and Oakland. You can then pick one of three routes depending on how much of the city you want to explore. All riders will have the opportunity to do some laps on St. Louis’ famous velodrome “Mr. Bumpy Face.” Some of the tour highlights include: Forest Park, Cathedral Basilica, Bellefontaine Cemetery, the Gateway Arch, and more!
There is also a special “Ride the Vision” where you can see a few of the destinations our protected bike lanes vision hopes to connect, and some cool parks and existing walking and biking infrastructure to help you get around. Upon your return you’ll have a front row seat in Trailnet’s VIP tent on the Grove Criterium course where you’ll experience thrilling bike racing up close and personal. Click here to register!
